Bio

Brittany is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC). She holds a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Mercer University. Brittany’s goal is creating a safe space to empower and support each client as they explore and gain insight into their emotions, thoughts, and relational patters. Brittany believes that everyone has the innate ability to heal through safe, supportive relationships.

As a therapist, Brittany utilizes an integrative approach and strengths-based perspective to support clients in the healing process. She works collaboratively with clients using a trauma-informed lens, person-centered approach utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Dessensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Solution Focused, and Mindfulness interventions.

Brittany’s experience includes working with individuals who have experienced trauma (PTSD), anxiety, depression, grief and loss, self-esteem issues, and life transitions (i.e. divorce, relocation, adoption, etc.). She works with both adolescents and adults.
